Last night, Jon and I went to a Geography reception where he and others were being recognized for their help in the geography department and for scholarships and awards that they've been given.
Jon was thanked for his help in the Geography club, recognized for receiving a scholarship for the next school year and given a certificate for being the Outstanding Undergraduate Student of the 2010-2011 school year! Jon knew he was going to be recognized for his scholarship but didn't realize that he'd be receiving the certificate of achievement that he did. Jon works so hard with all of his school work and it is extremely cool that the university's administration recognized it enough to award him with that. I am so proud of Jon and so grateful for his huge efforts in his schooling. Way to go Jon!!! We love you and are so proud of you!
