Our 7-4-11 Weekend

We had such a wonderful time spending our Fourth of July weekend in Arkansas. We were able to visit and play with family that we haven't seen for a while. It was nice to have the entire Williams family together and I enjoyed celebrating our country's independence with them.

Jeremy was quickly playing with Koen.
Jenny is showing her Grandpa Williams a photo book of one of her past summer adventures.
Koen soaked in all of the attention he got from his cousins and loved playing with them.

A new family tradition was born with our first annual water fight. It was "gallons" of fun!

Tom and Carla very much participated. This is after a lot of their water battles.

Jon just unkinked the hose. Koen didn't mind much.

Can you guess what Koen is communicating to me? This is what he does when he becomes stinky.

Four generations.

Koen standing in his grandpa's boots. There is a photo of Jon doing the same thing when he was very little too.

Jon and I hadn't seen his Grandpa Williams since before we were married 5 years ago. I didn't remember he was such a funny guy. We were so glad that he could be there with us. I love this first one of him because of his smile.
I thought I would post this one so that you can see his eyes as well.
A few shots with Koen just before we left.

We stopped by the Memphis temple on our way back home. It is the smallest temple I believe I have seen! Of course, it was very beautiful as well.

What a good weekend we had. :) I hope it was the same for all of you too.

I would say Koen has some big shoes to fill.
Looks like you all had a well-deserved blast.
